Ponniyin Selvan trailer and audio to be launched on this date

The much-awaited trailer and audio launch of Mani Ratnam’s film Ponniyin Selvan are all set to be held on September 6 at Nehru Stadium in Chennai.

Lyca Productions made the announcement with a poster on Twitter.

The film, which is based on a classic novel written in Tamil by Kalki Krishnamurthy and takes place in the 10th century, centers on the early life of Chola Prince Arunmozhi Varman, who later became known as the great Chola emperor Raja Raja Chola and was the most powerful king in South India at the time. The novel was originally written in Tamil. He is famous for restoring the dominion of the Chola empire and ensuring that it maintained its superiority in Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean.

The cast has a number of well-known actors and actresses, including Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Sobhita Dhulipala, amongst others.

The movie Ponniyin Selvan is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 30 in the following languages: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film will release in two parts.
