Poco M5 launched in India with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC: Check price and specifications
The Chinese smartphone maker Poco has unveiled a new budget-friendly 5G-enabled smartphone in India under the M-series, called the Poco M5. The smartphone comes with some interesting features such as a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 50MP primary triple rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Poco M5 price in India and availability:
The Poco M5 comes in two configurations – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The base variant with 4GB RAM is priced at Rs 12,499 and the 6GB variant is priced at Rs 14,499. The device will go on sale via Flipkart starting September 13. The phone will be available in Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Icy Blue color options.

As part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale and limited period offer, ICICI and Axis Bank card holders can avail of a flat discount of Rs 1,500, reducing the price to Rs 10,999 for the base variant and Rs 12,999 for the higher variant.
Poco M5 specifications and features:
The phone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 on the front. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Poco M5 runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13.

In terms of optics, the Poco M5 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor equipped with that phone for selfies and video calling.
Poco has packed a 5,000mAh battery on this phone which supports 18W fast charging.
