Oppo A58 5G launched in China with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC

The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched a new A-series smartphone Oppo A58 5G in its homegrown country. The key highlights of the latest Oppo device include a 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 50MP dual rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In China, the Oppo A58 5G comes with a single 8GB + 256GB model and it is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs 19,000). The phone will be available in three colors – Tranquil Sea Blue, Star Black, and Breeze Purple. Starting today, you can preorder the handset and it will go on sale from November 10.

The smartphone features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Under the hood, the Oppo A58 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A58 5G features a dual-camera setup on the back. There is a 50MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone houses an 8MP front camera.
