NHA enlists Pristyn Care as Health Tech partner for Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission to create ABHA ID

Mumbai, India: The NHA on 18th April officially announced the partnership of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and Pristyn Care through NHA’s official Twitter handle, mentioning that from now onwards, one can create an ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) ID from Pristyn Care App. NHA has also formally listed Pristyn Care as a partner on their website.

ABDM is a critical integration that leverages an open, interoperable, standards-based digital system that is secure, and maintains confidentiality and privacy of health-related personal information. The building blocks of ABDM are Aadhar, UPI, the internet, and mobile phones.

According to Pristyn Care, ABDM will help the Government of India fulfill its aim of developing integrated digital healthcare infrastructure. Till now, ABHA ID could be created only through Government hospitals. This partnership between the NHA and Pristyn Care will help more Indians be able to generate their ABHA ID through a simple two-step process, where only phone numbers and Aadhar ID numbers will be required. ABDM would streamline healthcare information through digital management of inputs.

ABHA is a strong and trustable identity that will be accepted by healthcare providers and payers across the country. ABHA would strengthen the accessibility and equity of health services, including the continuation of care with citizens, being ability to access their health data, in a holistic healthcare program approach, leveraging of IT and associated technologies.
