Moto G42 set to launch in India on July 4, confirms Flipkart listing

The Lenovo-owned tech giant Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto G42 in India on July 4. Ahead of the official launch, Motorola has set up Moto G42’s Flipkart page that reveals its design, colors, triple rear cameras, and other key specifications.

As per the launch micro-site, the upcoming Moto G42 will offer a Full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, a 50MP camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery unit. The handset will also feature an IP52 water repellent design, 20W TurboPower charging, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.

The latest Moto G-series handset offers a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a centered punch hole notch. Under the hood, The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. Further, the users can expand the internal memory up to 1TB via a MicroSD card. The Moto G42 runs on Android 12 out-of-the-box.

In terms of camera, it comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the handset has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Motorola G42 houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W Turbo Power charging. Notably, the smartphone also has an IP52 Water-Repellent design which will keep your phone safe from splashes of water. In addition, the device also offers dual speakers with Dolby Atmos to make the audio experience more immersive. However, the company has not yet confirmed the pricing of the Moto G42 in India, so we need to keep waiting for the launch date.
