Micromax In 2b launched in India with 5000mAh battery: Check price, specifications, and other details

The homegrown smartphone maker Micromax today has launched the Micromax In 2b in India. The phone is a successor to the Micromax In 1b that was launched last year. The budget smartphone is claimed to offer a long battery life with its 5000 mAh battery. The device comes in two storage options with up to 6GB of RAM.

The phone features a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop-style notch display. The display also comes with 400 nits brightness and has an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by the Unisoc T610 octa-core SoC, paired with up to 6GB RAM. The Micromax In 2b runs Android 11 out of the box.

In terms of optics, Micromax In 2b comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The primary camera comes with support for night mode, portrait mode, and Auto HDR. For selfies, the device has a 5MP front camera.

Under the hood, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery. Micromax claims that the device’s battery offers up to 160 hours of music playback, up to 20 hours of Web browsing, up to 15 hours of video streaming, and up to 50 hours of talk time. The device can be charged using a 10W charger via the USB Type-C port. Moreover, it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock as well.

The new Micromax In 2b is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage option and Rs. 8,999 for the 6GB + 64GB storage model. It comes in three color options – Blue, Black, and Green. The device is available for purchasing starting August 6 at 12 pm (noon) via Flipkart and Micromaxinfo.com.
