Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan Part-1 to release in cinemas on September 30
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s is one of the most awaited films ‘Ponniyin Selvan Part-1’ is all set to release on theatres on September 30, 2022. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam.
‘Ponniyin Selvan Part-1’ is a vivid story of a series of dangers to the throne of the Chola Empire, struggles between warriors and conspirators, achievements, humor, and sacrifices.
The official Twitter handle of Lyca Productions announced the same and wrote, “Wishing our Chairman Allirajah Subaskaran a very happy birthday! The Golden Era comes to the big screens on Sept 30th (sic).!”

The film also stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and several others.
The much-awaited magnum opus is produced by Lyca Productions in association with Madras Talkies, and it has music scored by AR Rahman.
