Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata first song release postponed due to Covid-19

On the occasion of Sankranti, the makers of ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ announced that the song’s release has now been postponed due to Covid-19 cases. The production house, Mythri Movie Makers, announced the same with a statement. The first song of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ was earlier supposed to release on January 26.

On January 14, Mythri Movies Makers issued a statement informing fans that the song release had been postponed. The statement read, “Due to the unforeseen turn of events and the outspread of COVID within the team, there would be a delay in the updates of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Further communication would be given at the soonest possible. Hope you understand. With you all a very Happy Sankranti. Stay home, Stay safe. And mask up (sic).”

In the first week of January, Mahesh Babu tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He was advised to be in isolation at his home in Hyderabad. According to the latest reports, the actor has now recovered from Covid-19.

After Mahesh Babu, composer Thaman and actress Keerthy Suresh contracted the virus. While Mahesh Babu and Thaman have recovered, Keerthy Suresh is still in isolation.

‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is all set to hit the theatres on April 1. But, the latest reports suggest that the film’s release could be postponed.
