Madan Mohan Temple Of Bengal In Cooch Behar Opened After Three Months

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, about three months later the doors of the Madan Mohan temple in Cooch Behar are opening from today.

According to the report, after opening the temple district magistrate Mr. Pawan Kadeyan paid obeisance today. The temple of Madan Mohan was closed from March 25. For the precaution of coronavirus, fans will be allowed to enter the temple in groups of 15 at a time. When you come to the temple to worship, you must first get a specific ticket. The first 15 fans will get priority by showing those tickets. Devotees will not be allowed to climb the floor of the temple. The temple is currently closed for food. Fans will be allowed to enjoy only messages and fruits.

According to temple sources, if a devotee comes to the temple, his body temperature will be measured by thermal checking first. If the temperature is under control, you will be allowed to enter the temple by keeping your shoes outside the gate. The walk in the garden adjacent to the temple is completely closed.

This temple was established in 1889 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan. It is learned that from today, the temple will be open every day from 10 am to 1 pm and again from 4 pm to 6 pm. District Magistrate Pawan Kadeyan said extra measures have been taken to deal with the corona so that 15 devotees can enter the temple so that more devotees do not crowd. When they go out with puja, 15 devotees will enter again.
