KC Bokadia announces ‘Teri Meherbaniyan 2’, the revenge of dogs

Veteran filmmaker KC Bokadia is going to make ‘Teri Meherbaniyan 2’ after 37 years. The film is the sequel to the movie, ‘Teri Meherbaniyan’ which stars Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillion in the leading roles.

It was released on 1985, and the title track of this movie, which was sung by late singer Bappi Lehri, was loved by many. The first part of the film won the hearts of many as the film showed the story of a dog and the emotions hit the audience hard.

While sharing the poster and information, the Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh stated that, “KC BOKADIA ANNOUNCES ‘TERI MEHERBANIYAN 2’… Veteran #KCBokadia – who delivered solid hits with #AmitabhBachchan, #Rajinikanth, #SalmanKhan, #SRK, #MithunChakraborty, #JackieShroff – is ready with #TeriMeherbaniyan2, the sequel to #TeriMeherbaniyan [1985]… #FirstLook poster (sic).”

While talking about this sequel Bokadia said to the reporters, “The script of the film is ready and it is not a remake or a sequel to my earlier film, but the space of the film will be the same. Like the original, the dog will be the central character and will once again be a brown color Labrador. I have taken South director Aditya to helm the project, but it will be made in my style – packed with emotions. We will lock the actors soon.”

According to the reports, the shooting of this sequel will start next month.
