Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 resumes shoot with a formal pooja, see the pics
After a long gap of more than two years, the makers of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ have resumed the shoot with a mahurat pooja. The financers of the film, Lyca Productions took to Twitter and shared a few photos from the ceremony. In the pictures, filmmaker S Shankar is present at the mahurat along with the rest of the crew; however, Kamal Haasan was missing from the event.
Earlier today, film director S Shankar released a new poster featuring Kamal Haasan as Senapathy once again, along with the words, “He is Back”.
Sharing the new poster of ‘Indian 2’ featuring Kamal Haasan on Twitter, director Shankar wrote, “Good morning Indians, we are glad to announce that the remaining shoot for Indian 2 is commencing today! Need all of your support and wishes (sic).”

As per the source report, Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal will be joining the shoot in September this year.
Director Shankar’s Indian 2 is the sequel to the film of the same name, which was released in 1996. Kamal Haasan, who plays the titular role, is currently prepping for his role. The cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal alongside Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram, and Samuthirakani in key roles. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies in collaboration with Lyca Productions, Anirudh Ravichander is providing the music for the movie.
