Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty start shooting for the new action film ‘Baap’

Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, and Sunny Deol are all set to start together in an upcoming action entertainer, ‘Baap’. The superstars from the 80s and 90s have now hit the floors for the project and shared a picture from the sets. However, it’s Sunny who is missing from the picture.

On Thursday, June 16, Jackie Shroff took to social media to confirm the news by sharing a picture of the trio. He shared a photo posing along with Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborty. The caption of the post read, “Jahan chaar yaar mil jaaye….arre chautha kidhar hain bhidu….. @duttsanjay @mithunda_off ? (Where four friends reunite…But, where is the 4th one?) Using the Hashtag #BAAPofallfilms (sic).”

Sunny Deol reposted it on Twitter and reply, “Tum log kaafi fit lag rahe ho, Main bhi apna dhai kilo ka haath leke aa raha hoon @bindasbhidu @duttsanjay @mithunda_off #BAAPofallfilms (sic).”

Their film announcement comes on Mithun’s 72nd birthday. Previously, media reports had suggested that Sanjay, Mithun, Jackie, and Sunny will be headlining an upcoming action flick directed by Vivek Chauhan. Pinkvilla had reported that ‘Baap’ is being backed by Ahmed Khan in collaboration with Zee Studio. However, the film release date is yet to be announced.
