Instagram Becomes The Second Most Downloaded Application Right After TikTok

Sensor Tower Discloses its reports of October 2021, indicates the Chinese short video platform TikTok still holds the first position in terms of downloads. Instagram which is the most popular platform for sharing photos is in the second position.
According to the data, TikTok which is known as Douyin in China has a maximum of 17 percent download from there. The second most significant market in terms of download in the US. TikTok has 11 percent download from there.

Instagram which also has similar short video creating features as TikTok gained more than 56 million downloads which are 31 percent higher compared to the October 2021 downloads. India shares 39 percent of total Instagram downloads. However, it is to remind that TikTok which is owned by ByteDance is banned in India, the second-most populous country in the world.

However, other major apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram holds the 3rd, 4rth, and 5th positions respectively.
