Indian Matchmaking’s Sima Taparia to return with season 2 in August, shares pics

Matchmaker Sima Taparia is back with the second season of the hit Netflix show, ‘Indian Matchmaking’. Sima Taparia took to Instagram to announce the release date of the show. According to her post, Indian Matchmaking Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on August 10. The first few photos from the new season were shared by Sima on her official Instagram page. In the first photo, Sima folds her hands, and in the next few photos, we see the return of a few familiar faces, including Aparna Shewakramani.

The post was captioned, “Sima from Mumbai is back!! Indian Matchmaking S2 premieres on Wednesday, August 10 PST on @Netflix! (sic).”

Meanwhile, Netflix has also shared first glimpses from the show. Netflix shared photos from the sets of the show with the caption, “Gets down on one knee and asks if there are plans for season 2 of Indian Matchmaking THE ANSWER IS YES SEEMA AUNTY AND INDIAN MATCHMAKING WILL RETURN FOR A SECOND SEASON (sic).”

Indian Matchmaking is a show that revolves around a matchmaker (Sima Taparia) from Mumbai. On the show, she meets her clients and sets them up with prospective partners. Some of her clients in the first season were Aparna, Pradhyuman, Akshay, Vyasar, Nadia, and Ankita. The second season will also feature an eclectic mix of clients.
