India Post Payment Bank Launches ‘DakPay’ App for digital payment service

The Department of Post and India Post Payments Bank has unveiled a new digital payment app ‘DakPay’ to transform the Banking experience at the last mile.

MyGovIndia today has shared the news on his official Twitter handle and wrote, ” Department of Posts and India Post Payments Bank has unveiled its new digital payment services app – ‘DAKPAY’ to transform the Banking experience at the last mile.”

According to India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), the app is a suite of digital financial and assisted banking services provided by India Post and IIPB through the postal network across the nation.

Now anyone can send money domestically, Scan QR codes, and make payment services digitally by debit cards and UPI.

It will enable a cashless ecosystem, providing interoperable banking services of any bank (AePS) and Utility Bill payment services.
