IND vs BAN 1st Test: K L Rahul and Shakib Al Hasan unveiled Test match trophy

The much-awaited Trophy for upcoming India vs Bangladesh two-match Test series has been unveiled on Monday (December 12). Team India captain KL Rahul and Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan jointly launched the trophy at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, in Chattogram. Both the captains were seen posing with the trophy.

The official Twitter handle of BCCI has shared the image and wrote, “The Two Captains – @klrahul & Shakib Al Hasan pose with the silverware ahead of the two-match Test series (sic).”

The 2-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is going to start from 14 December.

Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma will miss the first Test starting on December 14 after a finger injury. Vice-captain KL Rahul will lead the side in his absence, while Abhimanyu Easwaran is picked as a reserve. On the other hand, Navdeep Saini and Saurabh Kumar were drafted in as Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja are ruled out. Jaydev Unadkat also makes a comeback after 12 years to the Test squad.
