ICICI Bank deploys mobile ATM vans in NCR and Chennai

To resolve the cash shortage issue in this Covid-19 outbreak, Indian banking major ICICI deploys ATM vans to the National Capital Region (NCR) and Chennai.

Due to the current situation, banks are open but working with minimal resources. People are also facing problems reaching out of banks because the government imposed the 21 days lockdown, and transportation is closed. Looking towards that inconvenience, ICICI Bank comes up with its moveable ATM vans. The initiative was disclosed on ICICI Bank’s LinkedIn page, where they mentioned that it enables customers to withdraw cash safely and conveniently from their doorsteps. They unveiled some glimpse of the initiative too.

They also stated that the Bank would deploy similar, similar mobile ATMs in Mumbai, Noida, and some other districts in UP.
