Huawei Y9a launched with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and Quad Rear Cameras
Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has recently launched a new smartphone called Huawei Y9a with a pop-up selfie camera.
The new Huawei Y9a also comes with a 3D arc design along with a nano-textured surface as well as includes up to 40W fast charging support.
According to a media report, at first glance, the Huawei Y9a looks similar to the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus smartphone that the company released in China recently.
In terms of key specifications, Huawei Y9a features a 6.63-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) TFT display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC processor and coupled with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It also comes in two RAM combinations – 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. However, the 8GB RAM model is limited to the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and some countries in Middle Asia. The handset also supports expandable storage up to 256GB.
The Huawei Y9a features a quad camera setup in square module design. The configuration consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a depth sensor of 2-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the pop-up module. The phone is powered by a 4,300mAh battery in the global market along with up to 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.
Huawei Y9a comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other key features include USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Finally, the company has not revealed the details about the price and availability of Huawei Y9a in the country.
