Huawei P50 Pocket foldable flip Phone launched with 120Hz display

Huawei has launched a new foldable smartphone Huawei P50 Pocket in China. The smartphone sports a clamshell design and comes with a flexible display. This handset features a 6.9-inch primary OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It packs a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The phone is currently available in China. The Huawei P50 Pocket launched in China is priced at CNY 8988 (roughly Rs 1,06,000). The variant offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is also a premium Gold Edition with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage priced at CNY 10,988 (roughly Rs 1,29,900). The phone comes in Crystal White and Obsidian Black color options.

Huawei P50 Pocket is equipped with two screens – a 6.9-inch main OLED display with a (2790 x 1188) pixels resolution and a hole-punch camera cutout at the top center. The screen has 120Hz refresh rate support and a 21:9 aspect ratio. On the outside, there is a tiny 1-inch secondary screen which is useful enough for checking notifications, receiving calls, and taking selfies, etc. The flip phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options – 256GB and 512GB.

In terms of camera, this foldable phone is equipped with a 40-megapixel primary camera, accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel Ultra Spectrum camera on the back. For selfies and video chats, Huawei P50 Pocket is also equipped with a 10.7-megapixel centrally placed on hole-punch selfie shooter.
