Huawei Nova 8i launched in Malaysia with Snapdragon 662 and 66W fast charging
The Chinese smartphone giant Huawei has officially unveiled the Huawei nova 8i smartphone in Malaysia after being listed on the company site for a week.
Speaking about the specifications of the handset, it comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display and sports a quad-camera setup. Huawei Nova 8i is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and packs a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. On the software front, the phone runs Android 10 out of the box.

The Huawei Nova 8i comes with a 6.67-inch TFT LCD display that has FHD+ 1080 x 2376 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM.
Coming to the camera features, Huawei Nova 8i includes a 64-megapixel main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and lastly a 2MP macro unit. At the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the device packs a 4,300mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge fast charging support. Huawei claims that the handset can be charged up to 60 percent in just 17 minutes and fully charged in 38 minutes. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 GHz/5 GHz, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi Direct support, Bluetooth v5, and more.

The new Huawei Nova 8i is priced in Malaysia at MYR 1,299 (Approx Rs. 23,300) for the lone 8GB + 128GB storage model. The phone has been launched in Interstellar Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Starry Black color options. The handset is currently available for pre-order from Huawei’s official Malaysia website.
