Honor X40i launched in China with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC: Check price and specifications

The smartphone Honor today has launched its latest mid-range smartphone Honor X40i in China. The smartphone is the successor of the Honor X30i which was launched in October last year. Some of its major highlights include a 6.7-inch display, MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging, and 50-megapixel dual rear cameras. Honor X40i price and availability:

The smartphone comes in three storage variants – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. It is launched in four color options – Black, Green, Rose, and Silver.

The Honor X40i price has been set at Chinese CNY 1,599 (approx Rs. 18,954) for the base 8GB RAM+128GB storage. For the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant price is Chinese CNY 1,799 (approx Rs. 21,319), and last of all, the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant is price is Chinese CNY 1,999 (approx Rs. 23,700). According to the company website, the smartphone will be available for purchase from July 22.

Honor X40i specifications and features:

Honor X40i sports 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset and paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. Further, the phone also offers up to 5GB of RAM expansion for better and smooth performance. The Honor X40i starts up with Android 12.0 and Magic UI 6.1 on top.

In terms of the camera, the smartphone houses a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash in the center. For selfies, the X40i is fitted with an 8-megapixel front camera.

The smartphone features a side-facing fingerprint sensor and also supports AI face unlock. The handset comes with other features like 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The device packs a 4000mAh battery further supported by a 40W fast charging.
