Haryana government extends summer vacation in schools till June 15
The government of Haryana has decided to extend the summer vacations for all the schools in the state till June 15 in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases.
Earlier, the state government had plans to reopen the schools in Haryana from June 1, but due to the current Covid-19 situation in the state, the government has been extended it.
Haryana is currently reporting more than 2000 Covid-19 cases per day. Thus, the education department of the state has decided to keep the schools closed. No final date for the reopening of schools has been announced by the government yet.
Earlier, the state Education Minister of Haryana Kanwar Pal was announced that the Haryana Board of Secondary Education, HBSE is likely to conduct the 12th board examination between June 15 to 20, 2021.
