Happy Birthday MS Dhoni: Suresh Raina to BCCI, cricketing fraternity wishes former India captain

Former India captain MS Dhoni, who was born on July 7, 1981, is celebrating his 41st birthday on Thursday, 7th July. On the occasion, fans, cricketers, and people from all walks of life took social media on Thursday to pour their wishes for MS Dhoni.

Suresh Raina, who retired from international cricket minutes after Dhoni made the announcement, was one of the first to wish his CSK and India teammate. Raina thanked Dhoni for being there beside him as a friend, a brother, and a mentor.

“Happy Birthday to my big brother. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and mentor in every phase of life, may god bless you and your family with good health always. Much love to you mahi bhai. Wishing you a great year ahead! @msdhoni #HappyBirthdayDhoni” he wrote along with a heartwarming video on Twitter.

Dhoni is currently in London, wherein he celebrated his special day in the presence of his wife Sakshi, and some of his friends, including Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. Sakshi herself shared pictures and videos of Dhoni’s 41st birthday celebration on Instagram. Sharing the video on Instagram his wife Sakshi Singh wrote, “Happy Bday ! (sic).”

Under Dhoni’s leadership, India won 41 out of 72 Tests, 110 ODI matches out of 200, and 27 T20I games out of 60. With the bat, he amassed 17,226 runs in his illustrious international career which spanned from 2004 to 2019, as per the report.
