GoPro launched Hero 9 Black action camera with 5K video recording

GoPro has launched its 2020 flagship action camera Hero 9 Black with 5K video support, and it will be available around late October.

The new camera takes the top place in GoPro’s lineup, and it comes with major upgrades in comparison to its predecessor -the GoPro Hero 8 Black.

The Hero 9 Black comes with a front-facing display and claimed to offer more battery life. It brings Max HyperSmooth video stabilization and Max SuperView ultra-wide-angle photo and video for the users.

In terms of specifications, the new GoPro Hero 9 Black has a 23.6-megapixel image sensor and it is powered by the GP1 processor. The camera can record up to 5K 30fps videos and capture 20-megapixel stills. There’s a new front-facing color LCD display that should be useful for framing your shots when you have the camera pointed towards you. According to company images, the camera is slightly larger and heavier than the previous models.

Moreover, the new GoPro Hero 9 Black is rugged and waterproof up to 10 meters. It also supports a single microSD card and has a USB Type-C port for charging.

The new GoPro Hero 9 Black price has been set in India at Rs. 49,500.
