Google Fixing A Bug That Preventing Some Images From The Top Stories To Display

Google SearchLiaison’s official Twitter handle posted that they are fixing the error. Top stories is a news-oriented separate search section.

When someone searches anything on Google, and if it’s related to any news, it appears on the top of the search results page. Every day billions of people meet their accurate results finding the news. All the mainstream media networks are connected with Google news and Google showcases the results in top stories along with the news agency name, the image of the news’, and a meta description. The bug was causing to not showing the images of the stories. However, this was not happening with all the stories.
Google said on Twitter that,

“We are working to fix a bug that is causing some images in Top Stories on Google Search results not to render properly. Our apologies — we hope to have this cleared up quickly!”
Many users also replied to the Twitter post and showed screenshots of the ongoing issue.
