Direct flights from Kolkata to Delhi-Mumbai launched soon

Direct flights from Kolkata to six cities are currently closed. However, this time the one-way flight from Kolkata to Delhi and Mumbai is slowly starting.

According to Kolkata Airport, Indigo flew their first flight from Kolkata to Delhi on Monday. This time they will operate several flights to Delhi and Mumbai for one way route. According to travel agents, Go Air and Vistara are also going to launching one-way flights from Kolkata.

According to the state goverment, the incidence of corona in Kolkata and the state will increase if passengers from these six cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Pune – come to the city. So, the aviation ministry has suspended flights from the six cities since July 8 at the request of the state. After that, the ban was extended in three phases. For now, it is in force till August 31.
