Cruise Ship Drug Case: Aryan Khan released from Arthur Road Jail
Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, has been released from the Arthur Road jail where he was lodged after his arrest in the cruise drugs case.
He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday.
In the five-page order, the high court said that Aryan Khan and his two co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were also granted bail, shall be released on a personal bond of Rs one lakh each with one or two sureties of the same amount.
Actor Juhi Chawla was the surety for Aryan, on Friday, signed Rs one lakh bond for Aryan after the bail conditions were explained by the Bombay High court.
As per the conditions set by the high court, the trio will have to surrender their passports before the special NDPS court and should not leave India without taking permission from the special court and they will have to attend the NCB office each Friday to mark their presence.
All three were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3, a day after raids were conducted on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
