CII to hold the 10th Global education summit for NEP 2020 today

Confederation of India (CII) today (December 10) is going to organize the 10th edition of the CII Global Education Summit on a digital platform.
The CII Global Education Summit will be held for two days from December 10 to 11.
According to the source, the Summit will also highlight the changes that have been necessitated during the year, in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, reimagining education spaces, and capacity building of teachers.
For focusing on the National Education Policy (NEP), it will feature key issues in the education sector, policy dialogue, dialogue with other key ministries relevant for education, examples from states, and also international case studies.
CII Global Education Summit is being organized for the past nine years and has received the support and patronage of the Ministry of Education in all the previous editions. It will also see the announcement of results of the 9th AICTE-CII Survey of Best Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020.

In earlier, CII had organized a 10-day Education Conference in June to discuss the effect that the pandemic has had on Education and steps being taken to counter it. The conference was inaugurated by Hon’ble Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. It had 20 sessions, conversations with top CEOs, and more than 100 speakers, both national and international. The virtual summit’s inaugural session was viewed by almost 45,000 people, through live coverage on social media and there were more than 5,000 delegates.
