Chiranjeevi introduces Naga Chaitanya as Balaraju from ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, see the poster

South actor Naga Chaitanya is currently gearing up for his big Bollywood debut with the Aamir Khan starrer film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022. The actor is all set to play one of Aamir Khan’s closest friends, named Balaraju. On Wednesday, the makers of the film dropped a brand new poster that features Chaitanya dressed like a soldier with black ink smeared on his face.

Taking to social media, superstar Chiranjeevi introduced the character ‘Balaraju’ that will be portrayed by Naga Chaitanya. In the caption, the actor wrote, “Introducing #Balaraju from #LaalSinghChaddha #AamirKhan (sic).”

Sharing the same, Aamir Khan Production wrote on social media, “Introducing Balaraju from Bodipalem… played by Chaitanya Akkineni! Love you our Yuva Samrat! (sic).”

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is the official Hindi remake of the hit Hollywood film, Forrest Gump. The Hollywood film featured Tom Hanks in the lead role. Directed by Advait Khanna, apart from Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Manav Vij in pivotal roles.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios. The film will be released on August 11, 2022.
