Badhaai Do trailer out: Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar’s film to be released on 11 February

The trailer for Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s quirky comedy ‘Badhaai Do’ has just dropped online. Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, it is a sequel to the National Award-winning 2018 film, Badhaai Ho. The film is produced by Junglee Pictures and written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary.

In Badhaai Do, Rajkummar Rao plays the role of a Delhi cop named Shardul. He is the only male police officer in a Mahila thana. On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar essays the role of a PT teacher Sumi.

Sharing the trailer of the film on Twitter Bhumi wrote, “It’s one of those films, that came our way, touched our hearts in ways we can’t explain. Ab aap dekho trailer aur hume #BadhaaiDo #BadhaaiDoInTheatre on the 11th Feb@RajkummarRao #HarshavardhanKulkarni @JungleePictures #AkshatGhildial @sumadhikary (sic).”

The film also features Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, and Shashi Bhushan in pivotal roles.

‘Badhaai Do’ was scheduled to hit the theatres on February 4, 2022. But now, makers have changed the release date of the film. ‘Badhaai Do’ is set for theatrical release on February 11.
