‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ Owner Kanta Prasad opens new Restaurant in Delhi

Kanta Prasad, the owner of ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ which went viral on social media earlier this year, is now starting his new restaurant in New Delhi.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Prasad said, “We’re very happy, God has blessed us. I want to thank people for their help, I appeal to them to visit my restaurant. We will serve Indian & Chinese cuisines here.”

Speaking to a news agency, Kanta Prasad said, that Indian and Chinese foods will be served at his restaurant. As soon as the news broke, Twitter erupted in joy and started congratulating Prasad.

Kanta Prasad’s story went viral in October as hundreds flocked to his food stall to help him during the unlock phase of the lockdown.

YouTuber Gaurav Wasan visited Baba Ka Dhaba earlier in October and posted a clip of it on his Instagram account. In the short video, Kanta Prasad broke down in tears as he narrated his predicament of the challenges that he faced while running the eatery amid the coronavirus pandemic. The video was later widely shared on social media platforms and went viral. This was later followed by a controversy wherein Kanta Prasad accused Gaurav Wasan of making off of him in a wrongful manner and also filed an FIR against him for the same.
