Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Anek’ to release on May 27, see a new poster

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film ‘Anek’ will now arrive in theatres on May 27 instead of its earlier planned release of May 13. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, ‘Anek’ is a socio-political thriller set in Northeast India.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek has been postponed multiple times in the past due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now, the film has been postponed from its earlier release date, due to avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, as per the report.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Ayushmann has announced the film’s new release date along with a fresh poster. He wrote, “All set on a mission to unite the nation. Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan! Anek in cinemas on 27th May, 2022. (sic).”

‘Anek’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha under Benaras Media Works and T-Series.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen next in a comedy-drama titled ‘Doctor G’. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as the female lead in the film.
