Arnab Goswami arrest: Experts confirm Anvay Naik wrote the suicide letter
The documentation experts have confirmed that the one-page note found in interior designer Anvay Naik’s Alibag bungalow was actually written by him.
At present, Raigad police are also looking at using the suicide note as a dying declaration by Naik to strengthen the case against Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami.
Meanwhile, Home minister Anil Deshmukh confirmed to the media that his government has received a report from experts stating that the suicide note was written by Naik who died on May 5, 2018.
“Forensic opinion has also been given to say he did not sign this suicide note under pressure,” said Deshmukh.
Naik had carried out work for firms promoted by Arnab Goswami. The Naik family’s contention was that Goswami’s firm owed him Rs 83 lakh. As well as, Nitesh Sarda and Feroz Shaikh also allegedly failed to settle bills. Naik allegedly died by suicide in his own bungalow in Alibug owing to mounting debt incurred by his firm. After the incident, an offense was registered against the trio.
