Anushka Sharma wraps up Jhulan Goswami’s biopic Chakda XPress, shares pics

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has wrapped up filming her upcoming movie ‘Chakda Xpress’. In the film, she will play the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It will exclusively premiere on Netflix.

Announcing the same, on (December 26), the official Twitter handle of Netflix India shares some pictures and wrote, “It’s a wrap on #ChakdaXpress. Playing soon (sic).”

In the pictures from the wrap, Anushka is seen donning the jersey of Team India as she cuts the cake with director Prosit Roy and Jhulan. The other picture shows Jhulan giving the final clap to end the shot.

The movie is directed by Prosit Roy and backed by her brother Karnesh Ssharma’s Clean Slate Filmz. ‘Chakda Xpress’ will stream on Netflix next year.

Anushka was last seen in the Aanand L Rai film Zero (2018) with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She is married to cricketer Virat Kohli They have a daughter, Vamika Kohli, who will turn two in January 2023.
