Anushka Sharma shares a new photo from ‘Chakda Xpress’ sets

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is currently busy prepping for her upcoming project ‘Chakda Xpress’. In the film, she will be seen portraying the character of an Indian woman cricketer, Jhulan Goswami. On Wednesday, Anushka took to social media and gave fans a sneak peek into the world of ‘Chakda Xpress’.

She shared a still from the film on her Instagram handle. In the image, Anushka is seen recreating a moment from Jhulan’s life. She can be seen making a phone call while pouring rain beats down on everything around her.

Sharing the picture with her fans, Anushka wrote, “A moment from a story that needs to be told!”

The film is directed by Prosit Roy and backed by Karnesh Ssharma’s Clean Slate Filmz. This marks Anushka’s comeback to acting after four years. She was last seen in the 2018 film ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

‘Chakda Xpress’ will release on Netflix later this year.
