Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ to release in theatres on March 11
The release date of Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty-starrer ‘The Kashmir Files’ is finally revealed by the makers. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri, which was earlier scheduled to release on January 26, 2022, in theatres, was pushed due to Covid-19. Now the film will finally hit the theatres on March 11.
Anupam Kher has unveiled the new release date of the film and wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT: #TheKashmirFiles is releasing in THEATRES on March 11. Bringing the story of #KashmiriPanditGenocide Please support and bless us. #KashmiriPanditGenocide (sic).”

‘The Kashmir Files’ is based on the lives of Kashmiri Pandits and is inspired by true events. Apart from Anupam, the film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbli, and Chinmay Mandlekar in pivotal roles.
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film is bankrolled by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Agnihotri under the Zee Studios, IAmBuddha, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
‘The Kashmir Files’ is scheduled to release in theatres on March 11, 2022.
