Ananya Panday gets blessings from Vijay Deverakonda’s mother ahead of ‘Liger’ release

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are currently busy promoting their upcoming pan-India film ‘Liger’. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is slated to release on August 25, 2022. Now, ahead of the film’s release, Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, on Wednesday performed a pooja at their Hyderabad home. Vijay said in a tweet that now that his mother can sleep in peace as they will continue their promotional tour for ‘Liger’.

Vijay took to Twitter to share pictures with his mom and his co-star Ananya Panday after the pooja. In one picture, Vijay’s mother is seen tying a sacred band on Ananya’s wrist.

“This whole month touring across India and receiving so much love already felt like God’s blessing! But Mummy feels we needed his protection So Poooja and sacred Bands for all of us Now she will sleep in peace while we continue our tourVijay wrote as he tweeted the pictures,” Vijay wrote as he tweeted the pictures.

Apart from Vijay and Ananya, the film ‘Liger’ also features Ramya Krishnan, Mike Tyson, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles.

Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, ‘Liger’ is a sports film in which Vijay Deverakonda essays the role of a boxer. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, and Charmme Kaur.
