Amitabh Bachchan starrer biographical sports drama Jhund trailer out
The makers of ‘Jhund’ have released the trailer of Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s long-awaited sports drama on Wednesday.
The biographical sports drama is based on the story of Vijay Barse, a social worker who encouraged slum kids to form a football team, and Amitabh Bachchan plays him.
The three-minute trailer, shows football coach Vijay’s (Amitabh) efforts trying to get slum kids to play in his football team. He also tries to get the teens out from a life of crime to one of the sports.
Sharing the trailer on Twitter Big B wrote, “Aa rahi hai Sheron ki toli. Jamke khelenge sab, chahe striker ho ya goalie! #Jhund trailer out now See you in cinemas on 4th March, 2022 (sic).

Apart from Amitabh, the film also stars Akash Thosar, and Rinku Rajguru. As per the report, the biographical sports drama was announced in February 2019. It was supposed to hit the theatres on May 8, 2020, but it was postponed due to the novel coronavirus.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa, and Sandeep Singh, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment, and Aatpat.
The film is directed by veteran Marathi director Nagraj Manjule and is set to release on March 4 in theatres.
