Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah-starrer Darlings teaser out, to premiere on Netflix on August 5

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, on Tuesday, shared the teaser of her much-awaited dark-comedy film ‘Darlings’. Along with her, the film stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles. The teaser begins with Alia telling a story about a frog and a scorpion. The teaser goes on to show Alia and Vijay sharing a few romantic moments.

Shefali Shah took to Twitter and shared the much-awaited teaser of Darlings. Sharing the teaser, she wrote, “Kya ek meindak aur bichhoo dost ho sakte hain? Darlings, watch on 5th August, only on Netflix. #Darlings #DarlingsOnNetflix (sic).”

Apart from acting, ‘Darlings’ marks the debut of Alia Bhatt as a producer. She will be jointly producing the film under her home production company Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

‘Darlings’ will exclusively stream on the OTT platform Netflix on August 5.

Meanwhile, Alia also has Brahmastra Part One: Shiva with Ranbir Kapoor which is slated to release on September 9, 2022.
