Akshaye Khanna’s first look poster released from Drishyam 2, see the pic

After Tabu’s intriguing poster, today the makers of ‘Drishyam 2’ have unveiled the first look poster of Akshaye Khanna from the sequel of Drishyam. Akshaye will star in ‘Drishyam 2’, though he was not there in the first part.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is a sequel to the 2015 crime thriller ‘Drishyam’. It is a Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam movie of the same name.

The poster features Akshay Khanna intensely looking into the camera, with a chess board of sorts in the foreground.

Taking to Twitter, director Abhishek Pathak shared the first look of Akshaye Khanna ‘Drishyam 2′ and wrote, “Dushman ko haraane ka mauka aksar dushman aapko khud deta hai #Drishyam2 Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022 (sic).”

Yesterday, The makers of Drishyam unveiled actress Tabu’s first look on Wednesday after releasing the teaser. Tabu is depicted in the poster staring intently at the camera while two police officers stand to the side. In the movie, Tabu plays a cop who looks into the circumstances behind the death of her son.

Sharing Tabu’s look, Ajay Devgn took to Twitter and wrote, “Kaha tha na, woh itni jaldi humara peecha nahi chodne wale…woh fir aayenge. #Drishyam2 Case Reopens On 18th November, 2022 (sic).”

In the movie, Ajay will most likely be reprising his role of Vijay Salgoankar, whereas Tabu, will return as Inspector General of Police, Meera Deshmukh.

‘Drishyam 2′ is backed by Viacom18 Studios, Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Panorama Studios. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey, and Shiv Chanana. ‘Drishyam 2’ is set to release theatrically on November 18.
