Akshay Kumar’s first look out from Jaswant Sing Gill’s Biopic

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will yet again return as a Sikh character on the big screen with a film inspired by real life. He will feature Jaswant Singh Gill in the film ‘Capsule Gill’ which highlights the mining engineer who helped in the rescue of people when a coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, was flooded in 1989.

A recent photo of the actor dressed like a Punjabi Sardar from the sets of Tinu Suresh Desai directorial has gone viral on social media.

In the first look, Akshay looks unrecognizable wearing a red turban and he also sports a heavy beard.

Confirming the film, Film Trade Analyzer Taran Adarsh also shared Akshay’s first look on Twitter. He wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL… AKSHAY KUMAR – POOJA ENTERTAINMENT REUNITE… #AkshayKumar joins hands with #PoojaEntertainment [#VashuBhagnani] yet again… Filming begins in #London… Directed by #TinuSureshDesai [#Rustom]… #FirstLook…(sic).”

As per the report, currently, the team of the film is shooting in the United Kingdom. In fact, the entire film is expected to be extensively shot in the UK and also features Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

The movie is backed by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment.

Apart from this, Akshay Kumar will next feature in Aanand L rai’s family drama ‘Raksha Bandhan’. It will release on August 11. His other upcoming films are ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Mission Cinderella’, ‘Oh My God 2’, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, and ‘Selfiee’.
