Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Raksha Bandhan’ to release on August 11

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is set to hit the theatres on August 11.

Directed by Aanand L. Rai, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a comedy-drama film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. The film revolves around the love, bonding, and attachment between brother-sister.

This will be the second time Akshay and Bhumi will be seen sharing screen space together. The two were earlier seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared the motion poster of his film, Raksha Bandhan, and announced the same.

“Bringing you all a story of the purest form of bond that will remind you of yours! #RakshaBandhan releasing in cinemas on 11th August, 2022. #ReturnToFeelings #RakshaBandhan11August,” he captioned the post.

The film is produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. The story of the movie is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay has as many as five films lined up in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in ‘Sefliee’, ‘Oh My God 2’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Mission Cindrella’, and Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi remake.
