Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh celebrate as they wrap up ‘production 41’
Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh have wrapped up the shooting of their upcoming film, Production 41, in London. The actors took to social media to share a group photo with the entire cast and crew of the film and thanked the team. The actors were shooting the film in London since August. Production 41 is helmed by Bell Bottom director Ranjit M Tewari.
Sharing a group photo with the entire team of Production 41, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Can’t believe it’s a wrap on #Production41! Grateful to have shot and completed a memorable journey with the loveliest team! Thank you for all the love, smiles and fun (sic)!”

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Production 41 is the director’s second collaboration with Akshay Kumar. Earlier, they worked together in Bell Bottom. Production 41 also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Chandrachur Singh, and Sargun Mehta in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film began in London in August.
Akshay Kumar had to return to Mumbai in the middle of the shooting after his mother Aruna Bhatia’s health deteriorated. She breathed her last on September 8. The actor flew back to London to complete the shooting of the film after performing the final rites of his mother.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar’s calendar is spilling over with films lined up for release, notably ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Prithviraj’ ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
