Ajay Devgn and Dil Raju join hands for Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Naandhi’

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is collaborating with Dil Raju for making the Hindi remake of the 2021 Telugu hit, ‘Naandhi’.

The actor shared the news on his Twitter account. “Time to share an important story with all! @DilRajuProdctns and @ADFFilms are all set to produce the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Naandhi! @SVC_official @Meena_Iyer @kuldeeprathor9 @ParagDesai #MumbaiTalkeez #NaandhiInHindi,” Ajay wrote on Twitter.

Naandhi is a courtroom drama, which hit the theatres on February 19, 2021. The film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, opened to positive reviews. The story of Naandhi revolves around a prisoner (played by Naresh) who is currently under trial. He is falsely accused of murder and spends his time in prison awaiting judgment. Apart from receiving critical acclaim, the film was also declared a commercial success.

Naandhi also features Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen in key roles. The film’s music is composed b Sricharan Pakala.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in Om Raut’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ co-starring Kajol and Saif Ali Khan.

Next, Ajay has ‘Maidaan’ in his pipeline where he will be essaying the role of a football coach. He will also be seen playing pivotal roles in films like, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, ‘RRR’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. In both films, he will be seen sharing the screen space with Alia Bhatt.
