Airtel launches Rs 199 recharge to offer 3GB data, unlimited calling, and more

Bharti Airtel has silently launched a new recharge plan at Rs 199 for its prepaid users in India. Telecom Talk has reported that the new Airtel Rs 199 plan offers a total of 3GB of data, a total of 300 SMS, unlimited local and roaming calls with 30 days validity.

Other benefits of the plan are part of Airtel Thanks and will include free Hello Tunes and access to Wynk Music. Once users have crossed the limit of 300 SMS, they will be charged Rs 1 per SMS, while data usage beyond the total offered 3GB limit will be charged at 50 paise per MB.

Unlike most of the other Airtel plans that offer data or SMS rollover features, subscribers recharging with this plan will not be able to carry forward unused SMS and data into the next month.
