All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) are plans to work awareness on Jal Shakti Abhiyan in their respective blocks.

According to the source, to complete this project, AICTE has taken 40,000 engineering students who are working with the district administration.

Ministry of Education (Government of India) has been shared this campaign on Twitter and wrote, “#JalShaktiAbhiyan is working towards creating a water-rich India!
@AICTE_INDIA has mapped 40K+ engineering students who are working with the district administration to raise awareness on #JALShaktiAbhiyan via activities in their respective blocks. Students, you make us proud!”

Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s impetus on Jal Sanchay, the Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA) is a time-bound, mission-mode water conservation campaign.

An important part of the ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ is that it will focus on five aspects – water conservation and rainwater harvesting, renovation of traditional and other water bodies, reuse of water and recharging of structures, watershed development, and intensive afforestation.
