AdSense Anchor Ads Will Support On Wider Screens

Google AdSense publishers can now show the anchor ads to devices with wider screens such as desktops and laptops.

The anchor ads are pretty popular that were introduced back in 2013. These sticky ads appear on the mobile screens when any user scrolls up and down through the page.

As 54.8 percent of global traffic comes from mobile devices, these anchor ads are definitely an excellent choice for publishers. According to the update by AdSense, the new widescreen anchor ads will not roll out until July 19, 2021. AdSense has conducted experiments and found that anchor ads perform well on wider screens too.  As now publishers would be able to show anchor ads on desktop screens, there is a big chance they are likely to see increased revenue.

However, there is also an option for publishers if someone not willing to show anchor ads on desktop screens. They can control the whole thing from the newly introduced “widescreen control” in their auto ads settings.
