Adivi Sesh starrer Major to release in theatres on May 27

South actor Adivi Sesh’s most-anticipated film ‘Major’ has got an official release date. The Sashi Kiran Tikka directorial will be released in theatres worldwide on 27 May. ‘Major’ is a biopic inspired by the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life in the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai. Adivi Sesh will be playing the titular character of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

On February 4, Adivi Sesh took to Twitter to announce the release date of Major. Sharing the announcement poster, he wrote, “THIS. SUMMER. WILL. BE. MASSIVE. #MajorTheFilm WORLDWIDE on 27 May, 2022. #MAJOR ka promise hai Yeh. #MajorOnMAY27 (sic).”

Aside from Adivi Sesh, ‘Major’ also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma.

The movie is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with actor-producer Mahesh Babu’s company GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.
