Actor Rajiv Kapoor dies, Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor confirms report

Actor Raj Kapoor’s son Rajiv Kapoor passed away on Tuesday (February 9). Neetu Kapoor confirmed on Instagram by sharing his picture and captioning it as RIP.

According to a media report, the veteran actor-producer Rajiv Kapoor died of massive cardiac arrest. Karisma and Kareena Kapor’s father Randhir Kapoor had rushed him to a nearby hospital. The doctor had declared him dead on arrival.

Rajiv’s sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to confirm the news. Sharing a photo of the actor, Neetu wrote, ‘RIP’.

Actor Tusshar Kapoor expressed his condolences on his death and wrote, “Sad to hear of the passing away of Rajiv Kapoor! Deepest condolences to the family! May his soul rest in peace.”

The youngest of Raj Kapoor’s three sons, Rajiv started his acting career with Ek Jaan Hai Hum in 1983 followed by Raj Kapoor directed Ram Teri Ganga Maili Ho Gayi, and many more.

Rajiv Kapoor had made his directorial debut with Premgranth which starred Madhuri Dixit and the late Rishi Kapoor.
