Leica Launched V-Lux 5 Superzoom Camera With 16x Optical Zoom

The New Leica V-Lux 5 Is Specially Designed For Travellers.

Leica has launched a camera called the V-Lux 5 with 4K video recording support. It is available now for pre-order for $1,250 (approx Rs. 85,900).

According to the report, the camera is not a brand new model, but in fact, it’s a rebranded Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II superzoom camera, which some minor design changes. The camera has 1-inch, 20 megapixels sensor with 16x optical zoom, which gives you high-quality detail-rich images. In addition to its incredible still-picture prowess, you can also record 4K videos at a frame rate of up to 30 fps.

The lens covers a range equivalent to a 25-400mm lens on a full-frame camera while offering a bright f/2.8-4 maximum aperture from the widest to the telephoto reaches of the lens.  The Leica V-Lux 5 has an ISO range of 80 – 12,500 and burst shooting of up to 12fps. With just the electronic shutter, you can shoot 50fps too. It features a 3-inch LCD TFT display with touch support. Moreover, the Leica V-Lux 5 has built-in Wi-Fi that can be linked to your smartphone via the energy-efficient Bluetooth option. You can share photos and videos directly from the camera to your phone by the Leica FOTOS app.
